This month, as we reflect on our theme “It starts with people,” we are reminded of the powerful role that human connection plays in the success and longevity of any business. At Labor Systems, this belief has guided us for four decades.
On August 29, 2025, our President, Paul Turcotte, shared a heartfelt letter in honor of our 40th Anniversary—a milestone achieved by less than 3% of businesses. His words highlight not just the entrepreneurial spirit that sparked our company’s beginnings, but also the people—clients, employees, and communities—who made this journey possible.
From the bold vision of our founder, Roger Jusseaume, to the resilience shown during challenges like the Kingman fire, our story is proof that people are the foundation of growth, trust, and longevity. As we look ahead to the future, we remain dedicated to one mission: putting people to work and building opportunities that change lives. Here's to forty more.

Subject: Fortieth Anniversary
Dear Valued Client,
I would like to share some exciting news. This year our company celebrates
its 40th Anniversary. According to Google, less than 3% of businesses achieve this
milestone. We are proud to be in a space that few businesses will reach. As I reflect on the
significance of this event, one of the first items that come to mind is the people whose
support and dedication have allowed us to celebrate this momentous occasion.
Allow me to begin by acknowledging my uncle, Roger Jusseaume. Forty years ago, he
borrowed $5,000 to capitalize and start what is now a successful network of multiple
corporations, with dozens of offices in eight states. An entrepreneur in every sense of the
word, Roger was not afraid to take risks and constantly surrounded himself with
exceptional people. One client quickly became two which quickly became 20. For our
clients, we offer flexibility and scalability. Any entrepreneur knows that the ability to scale
up or down can be the difference between profit and loss. A temporary workforce
provides that flexibility.
When Roger hired people, he gave them a vision. A vision which exemplified putting
people to work was one of the most admirable careers available. We put people to work
and pay them a fair wage — daily. For many, the fact we pay daily is a game changer.
I’d like to share a story that captures the spirit of our business. Almost 10 years ago, I
received a call late one Friday night from the Fire Captain in Kingman, Arizona informing
me that our office caught fire. The fire had been doused but the damage was
significant. Several of us drove to Kingman on Saturday morning to find the charred
remains of our computers, many files and supplies, rendering us unable to open the office
on Monday morning. Unexpectedly, a stranger walked into our office and expressed his
sorrow for the state of our business. He then proceeded to tell a story.
Seven years prior, this stranger and his wife moved to Kingman with few belongings and
no jobs, but they found us. Our team helped them find work that paid daily and in time,
they were able to establish themselves in a new city. This stranger now owned a small
shopping center across the street from our office with an empty suite he used for storage.
He offered to clear it and asked us if we would temporarily move into his suite. This was
the miracle we needed! We opened for business Monday morning and showed our

Our Vision is to Find a Job for Every Worker, and a Worker for Every Job.
workers, neighbors and the community that we are not just a corporate entity. We put
roots in our communities, and we care about our people. If we had not opened our doors
that Monday, 100 people would not have received a paycheck. Those 100 people would
have been unable to shelter or feed 100 more people. Our impact and the value of what
we do is real.
With your partnership, we are part of the solution!
Our business is people. Without a business model that provides value for thousands daily,
none of this would be sustainable. In 40 years, we have had both great and challenging
years. Throughout our history and well into our future, the one constant will always be
people. While our business is temporary, our impact is substantial and long-lasting.
I am privileged to have been on this journey for 28 of our 40 years and am fortunate to be
surrounded by wonderful people who care about what we do and enjoy being part of the
solution. Among our many employees, today we employ six people who have worked for
us for over 30 years and seventeen who have been with us between 20 and 30 years. This
is another remarkable statistic for which I’m truly proud.
In 2025 the need for our services is as great as it ever has been. We value your business
and look forward to working with you for another 40 years.
